Vic: Pet store owner robbed near shop
MELBOURNE, April 18 AAP - A pet shop owner was robbed after locking up his shop in
Melbourne's east tonight.
The 48-year-old was walking to his car, which was parked behind the shop in Colchester
Road, Kilsyth South, when the robber approached him about 6.45pm (AEST).
The robber extended his arm as if holding a gun and demanded the car keys and a briefcase
containing the day's takings.
He fled in a white 2003 Nissan Patrol utility.
The man, who had a mask on, is described as being of solid build. He wore a dark jacket
and shorts.
