Vic: Godfrey says Virgin concerned about Melbourne airport
Virgin Airlines' operations chief executive BRETT GODFREY says he's concerned Melbourne
Airport's planned new $8 million terminal is a temporary one, overvalued and mightn't
be ready for the launch of Virgin's services from July 1.
He says facilities offered at other airports are expected to last significantly longer
than two years and are a fraction of the price at Melbourne Airport.
Mr GODFREY says Virgin wants a terminal that's competitive with Qantas and Ansett.
